Just as we thought that the HEAT could not possibly get any wors, well they did. Center Shaquille O’Neal is out for at least 2 weeks. that means around 6 games. yes sure maybe now we’ll do better but maybe not. The earliest he can come back is Feb 6th at Detroit (Oh goodie!) He has missed an average of 20 games over the past six seasons because of an array of injuries, and still has two full seasons after this remaining on his five-year, $100 million contract with Miami (why do you think we can’t sign key role player like Mo Williams?!)

Well so we as HEAT fan now ask WHAT NOW?! well most likely, Mark Blount will become the new center for the HEAT until Shaq can come back. Blount has averaged 5.7 points in 16 minutes per game this season (not too shabby). I don’t know how worst this nightmare can become, i understand that every teams has problems but this is an on-going problem with miami, they can’t keep the key players healthy for the whole season let alone the playoffs. I just hope we get on the ball soon and start winning some ball games. Wade, who scored 32 of the HEAT’s 38 second-half points in Monday’s 97-90 loss to the Cavs, said it’s tough to continue watching O’Neal play in obvious pain. sure it is, but it’s tough to keep seeing the team we all love lose too!!!! what’s the problem? well that’s something i already answered on my last blog, “What’s the problem?! can it be fixed?” so enjoy reading that.

GO  HEAT!
